Discription | Amphotericin B is a polyene antifungal antibiotic from Streptomyces sp. Amphotericin B induces K+ leakage, which is separate from its lethal action, as was demonstrated in human erythrocytes and is due to the inhibitory effect on the Na+/K+ pump. | ||
