Discription | Bryostatin 1 is a macrolactone isolated from the marine bryozoan, Bugula neritina, that modulates protein kinase C (PKC) activity. Bryostain 1 induces an initial rapid activation and autophosphorylation of PKC that results in the translocation of the PKC enzyme to the membrane. | ||
