It protects renal cells from nicotine-induced cytotoxicity through activation of the ERK/Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway. Additionally, 7-Hydroxyflavone inhibits PKM2 with an IC50 of 2.12 μM, and suppresses COX-2 and 5-LOX with IC50 values of 27 μg/mL and 33 μg/mL, respectively.
