Di-4-ANEPPDHQ is a polarity-sensitive membrane probe designed for visualizing membrane microdomains in living cells. This doubly charged fluorescent dye enables the assessment of lipid accumulation by producing a fluorescence spectrum shift in response to changes in the polarity of the lipid environment upon embedding within the cell membrane.
