Sclerotioramine, an antioxidant compound, is derived from the endolichenic fungus Penicillium sp.-strain 1322P. This compound demonstrates strong antibacterial activity, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 3.125 μg/mL against Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium, and 6.25 μg/mL against Shigella dysentery.
