Triclosan-13C12 is a stable isotope-labeled form of Triclosan, a potent broad-spectrum antibacterial agent that targets the enoyl-acyl carrier protein reductase (FabI) involved in bacterial fatty acid synthesis. This compound exhibits inhibitory activity against E. coli FabI with IC50 values of 2 μM and 10 μM for the wild-type and FabIG93V variants, respectively.
