Triclosan-13C6 is a stable isotope-labeled variant of Triclosan, which primarily targets bacterial fatty acid synthesis by inhibiting the enoyl–acyl carrier protein reductase (FabI) enzyme. This compound effectively inhibits E. coli FabI and the mutant variant FabIG93V, with IC50 values of 2 μM and 10 μM, respectively.
