Adapalene-d3 is a deuterium-labeled form of the third-generation synthetic retinoid, Adapalene. This compound acts as a potent retinoic acid receptor (RAR) agonist, demonstrating AC50 values of 2.3 nM, 9.3 nM, and 22 nM for RARβ, RARγ, and RARα, respectively. Additionally, Adapalene-d3 inhibits the enzymatic activity of glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase 1 (GOT1) in a non-competitive manner and possesses anti-tumor activity.
