JC2-11 is an inhibitor of inflammatory corpuscles that targets domain-containing proteins NLRC4 and AIM2, as well as non-canonical inflammatory pathways. This compound is effective in reducing the secretion of caspase-1 (p20) and the cleavage of gasdermin D (GSDMD), leading to decreased release of IL-1β and lactate dehydrogenases (LDH) from inflammatory bodies.
