Sudachitin is a potent inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 1C (PDE1C) and phosphodiesterase 4B (PDE4B), exhibiting IC50 values of 5.0 μM and 15.0 μM, respectively. It enhances the expression of Sirt1 and PGC-1α in skeletal muscle, thereby influencing energy metabolism and promoting mitochondrial biogenesis.
