cGAS-IN-9 is an inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase (cGAS) with IC50 values of 27.5 nM and 5.15 μM for human and murine cGAS, respectively. This compound demonstrates weak inhibitory activity against human soluble adenylate cyclase, with an IC50 of 26.4 μM. cGAS-IN-9 significantly reduces dsDNA-induced expression of IFNB1 and CXCL10, as well as inhibits the activation of the NF-κB pathway in human immune cells.
