It effectively reduces LPS-induced release of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), as well as the expression of COX-2 and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and inhibits the NF-κB signaling pathway. This compound demonstrates anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties in various murine models by targeting the NF-κB cascade, while presenting a lower risk of gastrointestinal side effects compared to traditional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
