Purine Nucleoside Analog
2'-O-(2-Azidoethyl)adenosine is a purine nucleoside analog that exhibits significant antitumor activity, particularly against indolent lymphoid malignancies. Its anticancer mechanisms are primarily driven by the inhibition of DNA synthesis and the induction of apoptosis.
