DNA Methyltransferase Inhibitor
DNMT-IN-6 is a potent DNA methyltransferase inhibitor targeting DNMT1, DNMT3A, and DNMT3B. It promotes demethylation and restores expression of the TMS1 tumor suppressor gene, leading to apoptosis and G2/M phase cell cycle arrest. Additionally, DNMT-IN-6 disrupts mitochondrial integrity and activates the intrinsic caspase cascade (caspases 3, 7, and 9).
