11-Oxoisomogroside V
PGC-1α
11-Oxoisomogroside V is a cucurbitacin that specifically activates the transcriptional activity of PGC-1α. This compound enhances cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial biogenesis, making it a valuable tool for research in metabolic diseases and aging. In luciferase assays, concentrations of 10 µM and 20 µM of 11-Oxoisomogroside V resulted in increases in luciferase activity to 133.79% and 143.81%, respectively, indicating its potent biological effect.
