DNAJA1/SV40 Inhibitor
116-9e is a potent inhibitor of the DNAJA1 protein, a co-chaperone of Hsp70. This compound effectively disrupts Simian Virus 40 (SV40) replication and DNA synthesis by inhibiting the ATPase activity of tumor antigen (TAg), which in turn impedes TAg-mediated activation of Hsp70. 116-9e is a valuable tool for studying the molecular mechanisms of viral replication and chaperone activity in oncogenic processes.
