12,13-DiHOME
BAT Activator
12,13-DiHOME is a potent activator of brown adipose tissue (BAT) and functions as a thermogenic lipokine in response to cold exposure. It promotes fuel uptake by enhancing the translocation of fatty acid transporters FATP1 and CD36 to the cell membrane, thus improving cold tolerance. This compound is valuable for research into metabolic disorders and the regulatory mechanisms underlying energy metabolism.
