NO Synthase Inhibitor
12-Dehydrogingerdione is a potent inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase (NOS). It effectively inhibits lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated production of nitric oxide (NO), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in Raw 264.7 macrophage cells. This compound is valuable for research into inflammatory responses and the modulation of nitric oxide pathways in various biological contexts.
