12S-HHT
BLT2 Agonist
12S-HHT is an agonist of the BLT2 receptor and an enzymatic product of prostaglandin H2 (PGH2) via cyclooxygenase (COX)-mediated metabolism of arachidonic acid. This compound serves as an endogenous ligand that fully activates BLT2 in vivo. Notably, 12S-HHT has demonstrated the ability to suppress UV-induced IL-6 synthesis in keratinocytes, highlighting its potential anti-inflammatory properties and its utility in inflammation-related research applications.
