14,15-EET-SI
Mitogen
14,15-EET-SI is a sulfonimide analog of 14,15-EET that functions as a potent mitogen. It promotes the incorporation of [3H] thymidine and activates pp60c-src, thereby initiating the tyrosine kinase signaling cascade associated with mitotic activity. Furthermore, 14,15-EET-SI enhances cell proliferation and upregulates the expression of c-fos and egr-1 mRNA, making it valuable for research into cellular signaling and growth pathways.
