15(R)-Lipoxin A4
Specialized Pro-resolving Mediator
15(R)-Lipoxin A4 is a specialized pro-resolving mediator that acts primarily through the activation of the ALOX12 and ALOX15 synthases, as well as the pro-resolving receptor ALX. This compound has been shown to inhibit key protein kinases, including JNK1/2/3, Lyn, and STAT-3/STAT-6, contributing to its anti-inflammatory effects. 15(R)-Lipoxin A4 enhances the release of pro-resolving mediators and promotes the resolution of neuroinflammation, making it relevant for studies on conditions such as Achilles tendinitis, Achilles tendon rupture, and Alzheimer’s disease.
