17(S)-HpDHA

Hydrolyzate

17(S)-HpDHA is an allosteric modulator targeting the 15-Lipoxygenase isoenzymes h15-LOX-1 and h15-LOX-2, derived from docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). It plays a key role in negatively regulating epoxide synthesis, thereby influencing lipid metabolism. Additionally, 17(S)-HpDHA demonstrates significant anti-aggregatory effects on platelets, with an effective concentration (EC50) of approximately 1 μM, making it a valuable reagent for research on cardiovascular and inflammatory processes.
