2′-Deoxy-4′-thiocytidine

Epigenetic Agent.

2′-Deoxy-4′-thiocytidine (T-dCyd) is an innovative epigenetic agent that targets DNA methylation processes. It has been shown to significantly increase the expression of the tumor suppressor gene p21. Furthermore, T-dCyd demonstrates efficacy in eradicating tumor cells in double-mutant xenograft models, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and epigenetic modification studies.
