20-5,14-HEDGE
20-HETE Analog
20-5,14-HEDGE is a 20-HETE analog that targets various cellular pathways to induce apoptosis. It has been shown to promote reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and mitigate hypoxia-reoxygenation-induced cell death in organotypic hippocampal slice cultures and ex vivo rat lung slices. Additionally, 20-5,14-HEDGE provides protection against lung ischemic reperfusion injury in rodent models. This compound is particularly valuable for investigations into pulmonary vascular signaling and mechanisms related to lung injury.
