3,4-Dephostatin

PTPase

3,4-Dephostatin is a selective inhibitor of protein-tyrosine phosphatase (PTPase), pivotal for regulating tyrosine phosphorylation in cellular signaling. This reagent has been shown to enhance nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced neurite formation in PC12h cells, facilitating neuronal differentiation. Additionally, 3,4-Dephostatin prolongs the tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase in response to both NGF and epidermal growth factor (EGF), making it a valuable tool for studies on signaling pathways and cellular growth responses.
