OR2AT4 Agonist
3-Campholenyl-2-butanol is a selective agonist of the olfactory receptor OR2AT4. This compound has been shown to enhance human hair growth ex vivo by reducing apoptosis and promoting the production of IGF-1, a growth factor that extends the anagen phase in the outer root sheath.
