3-Hydroxy-2-(palmitoyloxy)propyl stearat
3-Hydroxy-2-(palmitoyloxy)propyl stearat is a non-volatile compound that exhibits antioxidant properties by scavenging free radicals. Isolated from the brown macroalga Fucus virsoides J. Agardh, this compound demonstrates a protective effect against oxidative stress, particularly in zebrafish embryos exposed to hydrogen peroxide.
