3-Iodothyronamine hydrochloride

Metabolite of the TH

3-Iodothyronamine hydrochloride is a metabolite of thyroid hormone that acts as a rapid-acting regulator of physiological processes. It has been shown to potently activate the orphan G protein-coupled receptor TAAR1 in vitro, leading to significant biological responses such as hypothermia in vivo. This compound is valuable for research applications focused on metabolic regulation and the pathophysiology of conditions such as congestive heart failure.
