3'-O-(2-Nitrobenzyl)-dGTP

Reversible Terminator

3'-O-(2-Nitrobenzyl)-dGTP is a reversible terminator that functions by temporarily halting DNA primer extension. It is efficiently recognized and incorporated by DNA polymerases, allowing for precise control during DNA synthesis. Upon removal of the 2-nitrobenzyl blocking group through laser irradiation, a free 3'-OH group is regenerated, facilitating subsequent polymerase-driven extension. This reagent is particularly useful in DNA sequencing applications, enabling enhanced accuracy and flexibility in studies of nucleic acid sequences.
