4’-Hydroxy Trazodone

OAT

4'-Hydroxy Trazodone is a metabolite of the antidepressant trazodone and functions primarily as an inhibitor of organic anion transporter 3 (OAT3), exhibiting a Ki value of 16.9 μM. This compound demonstrates selectivity for OAT3 over OAT1, with a Ki value greater than 200 μM for the latter. Due to its inhibitory properties, 4'-Hydroxy Trazodone can be utilized in research focused on transporter-mediated drug interactions and the pharmacokinetics of antidepressants.
