TOP1 Inhibitor

4"-Isovalerylspiramycin I is a potent topoisomerase 1 (TOP1) inhibitor that exhibits antitumor activity. It inhibits DNA replication by directly binding to TOP1, leading to DNA damage and the downregulation of phosphorylated CHEK1 and the ATR/CHEK1 DNA damage repair pathway, ultimately obstructing DNA repair processes. This compound effectively suppresses proliferation, migration, and invasion of osteosarcoma cells while inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
