(±)5,6-DHET lactone

Lactone

(±)5,6-DHET lactone is a lactonized derivative of 5,6-EET and 5,6-DiHET. It exhibits potent vasodilatory effects in isolated canine coronary arterioles, achieving 41% and 100% inhibition at concentrations of 0.01 and 100 pM, respectively. Additionally, this compound induces vasodilation in isolated human microvessels and enhances intracellular calcium levels in a dose-dependent manner, an effect that can be inhibited by the nitric oxide scavenger L-NAME. This compound is valuable for research in cardiovascular biology and cellular signaling pathways.
