5-Bromo-2-fluoropyrimidine
5-Bromo-2-fluoropyrimidine is a polyhalogenated pyrimidine that serves as a chemoselective amination substrate. This compound undergoes selective amination at the C-2 position, targeting the C-F bond, while preserving the C-Br bond at the C-5 position when utilized in a Cu(II)/PTABS catalytic system.
