5MP-Propargyl

Protein Labeling

5MP-Propargyl is a thiol-specific bioconjugation reagent that facilitates cysteine-specific protein labeling. As a derivative of 5-Methylene pyrrolone, it exhibits reversible binding properties and is suitable for various protein bioconjugation applications. The Alkyne group in 5MP-Propargyl enables it to participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc), making it a valuable tool for click chemistry in the study of protein interactions and modifications.
