Plant Growth Regulator
7-epi Jasmonic acid is a plant growth regulator and the isomer of (±)-Jasmonic acid, derived from α-linolenic acid. This compound is known to effectively decrease chlorophyll levels in both green and etiolated barley leaf segments, as well as inhibit the elongation of rice seedlings. Its applications in plant research include studying growth regulation, stress responses, and developmental processes in various plant systems.
