8-Aminoadenosine

ATP Levels Reducer

8-Aminoadenosine is a nucleoside analogue that primarily reduces intracellular ATP levels, leading to the inhibition of mRNA synthesis. This compound effectively disrupts the Akt/mTOR signaling pathway, promoting autophagy and apoptosis through a mechanism that is independent of p53. Due to its ability to combat cellular energy metabolism and promote programmed cell death, 8-Aminoadenosine is of particular interest in anti-tumor research applications.
