A 131701

α1a/α1d-adrenoceptor Antagonist

A 131701 is a selective antagonist of the α1a and α1d-adrenoceptors, exhibiting a Ki value of 0.22 nM for the human α1a receptor. It effectively inhibits epinephrine-induced increases in intraurethral pressure (IUP) and has been shown to induce transient decreases in mean arterial blood pressure (MABP) and transient tachycardia. This compound is valuable for research into spontaneous hypertension and related cardiovascular conditions.
