A17

Anti-NASH Agent

A17 is a bile acid analog that serves as an anti-non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) agent. It exhibits significant anti-inflammatory activity by reducing fatty acid uptake and promoting fatty acid oxidation through the inhibition of fatty acid translocase (Cd36) expression and the activation of AMPKα. A17 is suitable for research applications focused on NASH and related metabolic disorders.
