AC-45594
UPR Activator
AC-45594 is an activator of the unfolded protein response (UPR) that induces endoplasmic reticulum stress in cells. This compound facilitates the transition from adaptive stress signaling to terminal stress signaling, ultimately resulting in apoptosis. AC-45594 promotes the activation of Caspase-3, induces PARP cleavage, and elevates the protein levels of DR5. Notably, it exhibits selective inhibitory effects on the growth of Ewing sarcoma cells, making it a valuable tool for cancer research and the study of cellular stress responses.
