Antitumor agent

Ac-DEVDD-TPP is a porphyrin derivative that targets caspase-3 for selective activation. Upon cleavage by caspase-3 and exposure to laser irradiation, it generates D-TPP, which facilitates the formation of porphyrin nanofibers. These nanofibers promote both apoptosis and pyroptosis, exhibiting significant antitumor activity, making Ac-DEVDD-TPP a valuable tool for cancer research applications.
