Ac4GalNAlk
MOE Reagent
Ac4GalNAlk is a weakly alkyne-labeled reagent designed for metabolic oligosaccharide engineering (MOE), targeting protein glycosylation detection. This reagent is activated by cellular biosynthetic pathways into nucleotide sugars, enabling the tracking of glycoproteins through bioorthogonal chemistry. Ac4GalNAlk enhances nucleotide-sugar biosynthesis, thereby increasing the presence of bioorthogonal cell surface markers for research applications in glycomics and cell biology.
