Aceglatone

Antineoplastic Agent

Aceglatone is an antineoplastic agent that functions as a β-glucuronidase inhibitor. This compound effectively reduces colon carcinogenesis by preventing the hydrolysis of glucuronides, thereby inhibiting the onset of colon cancer. Additionally, Aceglatone demonstrates the ability to decrease cell proliferation, induce apoptosis, and inhibit DNA synthesis in human colon cancer cells, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology.
