Acesulfame

Sweetener

Acesulfame is a synthetic sweetener that primarily acts as a low-calorie sugar substitute. Research indicates that long-term exposure to Acesulfame may impact cognitive function by altering neurometabolic pathways in animal models. Additionally, Acesulfame potassium has been shown to inhibit the autophagic degradation of PD-L1 in RIL-175 and SK-Hep1 cells via the ERK1/2-mTORC1-ULK1 signaling pathway, potentially influencing immune evasion in cancerous cells. This compound is valuable for investigations into neurological diseases, metabolic disorders, and cancer immunology.
