ACSL5 Inhibitor
ACSL5-IN-2 is a selective inhibitor of Acyl CoA synthetase 5 (ACSL5), targeting the conversion of long-chain fatty acids, including palmitic acid and oleic acid, into acyl-CoA. This compound interferes with fatty acid metabolism, leading to the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. ACSL5-IN-2 is applicable in research focused on cancer biology and metabolic disorders, particularly colon cancer and steatohepatitis associated with metabolic dysfunction.
