AF 698

Peripheral Vasodilator

AF 698 is a phthalate derivative of Apovincamine and functions as a selective peripheral vasodilator. It demonstrates enhanced vasodilatory effects on cerebral microvascular circulation compared to its parent compound, Vincamine. Notably, AF 698 shows no significant variation in protective efficacy against hypobaric hypoxia-induced lethality in murine models, making it a valuable tool for studying vascular dynamics and cerebral blood flow regulation.
