Agitoxin-2
K+ Channel Inhibitor
Agitoxin-2 is a potent inhibitor of potassium (K+) channels, exhibiting IC50 values of 201 pM for mKV1.3 and 144 pM for mKV1.1. This selective inhibition allows for detailed studies of ion channel functionality and signaling pathways associated with K+ channels. Agitoxin-2 can be utilized in research focused on neurobiology, cardiac physiology, and other areas where K+ channel modulation plays a critical role.
