AgrC-IN-1
AgrC Inhibitor
AgrC-IN-1 is a specific inhibitor of AgrC, exhibiting an IC50 of 3.5 μM against Staphylococcus aureus. By competitively binding to AgrC, it effectively prevents its autophosphorylation, thereby disrupting quorum sensing pathways. This inhibition leads to reduced production of virulence factors in Staphylococcus aureus, making AgrC-IN-1 a valuable tool for studying Staphylococcus aureus infections and associated pathogenic mechanisms.
