AK-778-XXMU

ID2 Antagonist

AK-778-XXMU is a potent antagonist of Inhibitor of DNA Binding 2 (ID2) with a binding affinity of KD 129 nM. This compound effectively inhibits the migration and invasion of glioma cell lines, induces apoptosis, and demonstrates significant anticancer activity. AK-778-XXMU targets the ID2-KDR signaling pathway, resulting in the down-regulation of angiogenic factors like VEGFA and invasion-related proteins such as MMP2/9, while concurrently up-regulating the tumor suppressor PTEN. This reagent is suitable for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying glioma progression.
