AKT-IN-3

Apoptosis

AKT-IN-3 is a potent and selective AKT inhibitor that primarily targets the Akt signaling pathway, exhibiting IC50 values of 1.4 nM, 1.2 nM, and 1.7 nM for Akt1, Akt2, and Akt3, respectively. This compound also demonstrates significant inhibitory activity against other AGC family kinases, including PKA, PKC, ROCK1, RSK1, P70S6K, and SGK. AKT-IN-3 is utilized in cancer research due to its ability to induce apoptosis and inhibit metastasis in cancer cells, making it a valuable tool for exploring therapeutic strategies against malignancies.
