AM-36

Neuroprotective Agent

AM-36 is a neuroprotective agent that exhibits both antioxidant properties and sodium channel blocking activity. This compound has demonstrated the ability to inhibit cell apoptosis and reduce reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. In preclinical studies, AM-36 has been shown to mitigate neuronal damage and dopamine (DA) release following middle cerebral artery occlusion in rat models. It is a valuable reagent for research into inflammation and various neurological disorders, including stroke.
